When I first began Pilates with Naomi she took a great deal of time to get to know my body and any issue that might affect my Pilates routines. It didn’t bother her that I had no Pilates experience and she never expressed reticence to accept me as a client. She was incredibly easy to talk to and I felt an instant connection with her. Joining Naomi’s mat class and working on the Reformer has been one of the most rewarding exercise programs I have experienced. I had never taken Pilates classes before I began one year ago. I had heard that Pilates was a workout for your core, but I now realize it is much more. Naomi is a warm, caring, supportive, encouraging teacher, never judgmental. Her goal is for her students to feel better physically, have more control over their bodies by adjusting each exercise based on a student's ability. If we have any issues because we hurt ourselves elsewhere just living life, she ensures we are exercising safely and without pain, and frequently gives us helpful exercises to continue at home to improve our "issues."
